@graceongrid What I'm saying is that many people I talk to are studying design because it's seen as an easy and profitable career. You can still choose design if you're after serious money, but not in the corporate world.

@MartoMads Finding a profitable career path is indeed a great thing, tho folks who are getting into design today are mostly driven my π°. It really upsets me when I mentee says they love design because they can work from home.

@Jenny_1884 And incentives like 0% deposit on a house, Β£1k towards your first home, and free childcare below Β£100k salary are massive scams. They want us to think small and never dare to break away from the system.

@lawrencekingyo Sadly, we've all been brainwashed by movies and shows where the rich kid is fat, sad, and alone, or the wealthy man is cocky and evil. The rich see money as an opportunity, while the poor see it as a scam.

@NapierHolland It's wild how many of us are afraid to ask for a fair salary. So many of my friends won't even apply for jobs over Β£50k because they're scared of being unfair to colleagues or employers. After all, money is only for the wealthy.

@fergustp @ryan_m910 @mulronie @DanielPriestley @AaronHallUK But if you and your partner make Β£99k each, then you can get the benefit. What a clever idea! π
