aeons are called "the" (lan THE hunt, aha THR elation etc) but genshin uses "of" (god IF freedom, god OF justice etc) This highlights how aeons ARE their very concepts, while archons are envoys who represent their ideals

Hoyo has a history of using slavic elements in their games, however i was always bugged out by its use. Slav rep has always had its issues in media as it is usally based in stereotypes or gross generalizations. The two games i want to touch on are honkai impact and genshin.

I have two issues with their rep. While bronya and seele are fine (or at least don't have terrible issues) Rosa and Lilya are inspired by a Polish novel "Lila Weneda." It is disrespectful to call them russian. The second one is the obvious "russian war general villan" stereotype

Honkai has 4 main slav charcters, Seele, Bronya, Rosa and lilya as well as cocolia as a secondary role. Bronya and the sisters are canonicly russian and seele is estonian. Cocolia is their adoptive mother and a minor antagonist early in the story.
