Hey @DOGE ref you manually consolidating a govt org chart. We at Lanka Data Foundation have been working on our own version of DoGE and a govt org chart is a key map to organize govt data. The current (older) version is built using StanfordNLP and other stuff to read govt official pubs (called gazettes here in Sri Lanka) and auto generating the graph. The key thing is these get published every few weeks as the org gets tweaked. So a key thing is that we have a time series of the org chart and have a view that lets you navigate that. Things come and go way more often here than in the US as govt policies change faster than the wind direction does. You can see the current version here: (I've attached a few images FYI). This is on a free host yet .. don't break it. The new version we're working on uses OpenAI APIs to scan gazette images to extract the data from the gazette. (We found that images work better than the PDF because of the 2D structure of the information.) The v2 is working for full org restructure gazettes (which typically comes after each election) and processing the incremental ones is in progress. We're open source and the goal is to build software to DoGEify the world, starting with Sri Lanka. Happy to share if you want to use anything we have. For digital stuff, before we can fly (let alone run, which is what "leading the world" means), we need the core foundations in place. @anuradisanayake You got a very strong mandate for *5 years*. Take the time to build this right and don't fall into the trap of trying to produce results fast and making ridiculous PR statements that make no sense. And whoever advised you that *Oracle* is going to "help" is wrong- if they put up a data center in Port City its because they find it economically valuable, not because they want to pave the way for XXX. The same is true for any bigtech (or smalltech) company. Like every other type of development, we need to do this *ourselves* and in our own way. India did it (and is doing it) themselves and in their own way.
