You know you’re doing the right thing when @MOFA_Taiwan Minister Joseph Wu tells you you’re the second Ambassador of India in Taiwan.🥹 Thank you so much, Minister Wu. Can’t thank Taiwan enough for the warmth. It’s a home for a reason!

Happy fifth Taiwanniversary to me! Five years ago, I arrived in Taiwan, thinking it’d be a brief chapter in my story. But in 2025, I find myself still here—surrounded by memories, friendships, and opportunities I never imagined. Taiwan has woven itself into the fabric of my life, becoming more than just a place I stay. It’s where I found recognition, where kindred spirits became family, and where I was embraced in ways beyond words. Taiwan, you’ve welcomed me with open arms, and I’m forever grateful for the warmth and love you’ve given me. Taiwan is home 💜

As part of the @taef_tw & @orfonline partnership, I co-authored this long-form analysis on the prospects of India-Taiwan relations with @kalpitm. We argue that deepening ties across economic, technological, cultural, and social dimensions will build a strong & enduring partnership between India & Taiwan.
Delighted to co-author a joint paper on India-#Taiwan cooperation with @sanahashmi1 at Taiwan Asia Exchange Foundation (@taef_tw). @orfonline @raisinadialogue

One the One Chian Policy: Pakistan has historically not prioritized Tibet, particularly concerning the religious freedom of its people, even though Pakistan was founded on religious principles. China has maintained a strong alliance with Pakistan regarding Tibet and the One China Policy, and Pakistan has consistently demonstrated loyalty in this regard. No doubt that during Zardari’s visit, the joint statement will reaffirm commitment to Tibet and the One China Policy. In this matter, Pakistan lacks the leverage, capability, and authority to effect substantial change- not that it wants to make any change. 3/3

This week, in my @ThePrintIndia's #EyeonChina column, I argue that Pakistan’s value to China is fading as India grows more prepared for a two-front conflict—the very scenario that once fueled China-Pakistan ties. Meanwhile, Chinese nationals in Pakistan are paying the price for a partnership that no longer delivers for Beijing.
'‘All-weather friendship’ with Pakistan is increasingly becoming a liability for China' Sana Hashmi @sanahashmi1, fellow at Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation, writes in ThePrint #EyeOnChina
