You know you’re doing the right thing when @MOFA_Taiwan Minister Joseph Wu tells you you’re the second Ambassador of India in Taiwan.🥹 Thank you so much, Minister Wu. Can’t thank Taiwan enough for the warmth. It’s a home for a reason!

Taiwan's investment in Singapore has surpassed that of China—a positive development. However, Taiwan should also now turn its attention to India, a growth story it cannot afford to miss.

Happy fifth Taiwanniversary to me! Five years ago, I arrived in Taiwan, thinking it’d be a brief chapter in my story. But in 2025, I find myself still here—surrounded by memories, friendships, and opportunities I never imagined. Taiwan has woven itself into the fabric of my life, becoming more than just a place I stay. It’s where I found recognition, where kindred spirits became family, and where I was embraced in ways beyond words. Taiwan, you’ve welcomed me with open arms, and I’m forever grateful for the warmth and love you’ve given me. Taiwan is home 💜

As part of the @taef_tw & @orfonline partnership, I co-authored this long-form analysis on the prospects of India-Taiwan relations with @kalpitm. We argue that deepening ties across economic, technological, cultural, and social dimensions will build a strong & enduring partnership between India & Taiwan.

Bittersweet moment for us (Indians in Taiwan) to bid farewell to Taiwan’s deputy foreign minister Tien Chung-kwang. He’s been a longtime supporter of India-Taiwan relations. Our loss, Europe’s gain!

In 🇺🇸, Taiwan’s LY President Han Kuo-yu was saved by Bombay Street Food after a busy banquet! Hungry & in his car, he spotted an🇮🇳restaurant & had his driver stop. Despite being closed, they served him dinner, & he said it was 非常非常好吃! 🥘

One the One Chian Policy: Pakistan has historically not prioritized Tibet, particularly concerning the religious freedom of its people, even though Pakistan was founded on religious principles. China has maintained a strong alliance with Pakistan regarding Tibet and the One China Policy, and Pakistan has consistently demonstrated loyalty in this regard. No doubt that during Zardari’s visit, the joint statement will reaffirm commitment to Tibet and the One China Policy. In this matter, Pakistan lacks the leverage, capability, and authority to effect substantial change- not that it wants to make any change. 3/3

This week, in my @ThePrintIndia's #EyeonChina column, I argue that Pakistan’s value to China is fading as India grows more prepared for a two-front conflict—the very scenario that once fueled China-Pakistan ties. Meanwhile, Chinese nationals in Pakistan are paying the price for a partnership that no longer delivers for Beijing.

The Indian office in Taiwan has been actively building bridges—India is making the effort. Now, it’s Taiwan’s turn to step up and match that momentum.
