I don't post often but I've known @sama for almost 2 decades and he has been the *most* generous person throughout my career, extending extraordinary amounts of time, effort, and help without hesitation after my tenure at Loopt. While he's already changed the path of humanity with his work -- and will continue to do so -- I've always seen his outsized contribution to our industry as the incredible care and loyalty he's given to founders.

nice briefly chatting at Stanley's wedding 🙂 There's a good chance we drift towards what's happened in China - CPG brands partnering with creators to promote sales to their audiences ("Last year alone, an estimated $500 billion in goods were sold via livestream... an eightfold increase since 2019") 70% of the revenue pie for creators is still brand sponsorships. Just seems likely that the large CPG brands still prevail with new creator strategies as even the DTC brands like Warby Parker/Allbirds/Casper have shifted power back to larger brands

@Joshmedia @Patreon Was following closely in 2018 as ERC-721 was forming - and having lots of internal discussions. NFTs are very creator-friendly in terms of ownership which is super aligned with Patreon. Love what @3LAU is doing w/ NFTs and his upcoming album release, too.
