@BORReport “Why do Disney keep making these live action remakes??? No one wants them!” Yes, they absolutely do. And this movie’s box office has proven it once again

#HeartEyes is a blast. Often feels like a love letter to the slasher horror sub-genre. Some really creative kills and some truly funny self parody / fourth wall nods to horror fans. A predictable final act but aside from that, a great time at the movies.

Aside from some reasonably cool action / fight choreography, #LoveHurts is as generic as they come. Ke Huy Quan does the best with what he’s given, but not even he can save this movie from its own mediocrity. Wish, Argylle, Kraven and now this. Ariana DeBose needs a new agent.

The only reason I can’t wait for awards season to be over is so that I never have to think about Emilia Pérez ever again

Aside from a generic third act, #DogMan is better than it has any right being. I grew up on Dav Pilkey’s Captain Underpants books, but Dog Man was well after my time, yet I still had a great time with this one. Tons of chuckles and an animation style that I genuinely loved.
