@paulgauthier noticed some really weird hallucinations when editing CSS with search/replace on sonnet 3.5, ended up implementing a "block" based search replace to work around, it is interesting, not sure if aider should go down this path

@nezirzahirovic I saw this problem a bit and noticed a few other people tweet about it. I think the diff output is less then ideal and it is tripping up a lot of tooling.

Nice to see Shell GPT continue to evolve, new Go port is at: , works nicely from my recent testing. It is nice to be able to pipe information from the terminal into models and quickly lookup arcane command line tricks

Aiders superpower is the rock solid diff implementation, coupled with linting and feedback loops, I built this little toy today , the interesting story here is how many working commits aider managed to land ( 👏 @paulgauthier

@davidfowl pretty much, see: - trouble is that it is "defacto" and not standard so each provider does it a tiny bit differently, enough to make life very annoying - and not all providers support all features.

@OfficialLoganK The challenge is consistent diffs when making changes to mini apps, needing to sprinkle so much magic to get it to work is very frustrating.

In many ways, over the years, Safari iOS is becoming more and more like the new IE6 for Web Developers: , every month there are new hacks added, but also worth mentioning there is some progress being made from the Safari team
