Excited for tonight doesn’t cut it. This is why I love being a Torquay fan, big nights at Plainmoor like this. This has been the best season since Lingy nearly took us up. To Gary and the boys - we’re all with you. Come on the boys
Looks like that’s our season over, but honestly, I’m not disappointed. The way GJ turned it around to a point where the play offs were in sight is a credit to the man. I hope he’s the man to take us back up.
I’m sure there’s this weird generation of Torquay fans who have never seen us in a relegation battle. Honestly lads, you’re in for a treat supporting this club
Also I don’t care if he conceded the penalty, Asa Hall is a certified Torquay cult hero and I’ll love him forever. Immense impact on the club over 5 years. Pray we get him for another year
Every single one of those lads can hold their head high. I feel optimistic about next season, Gary is staying, we’ve got a group of lads that will want to get the job done. Yes some will move on but we’ll bring in new heroes. We’ll be back, we’ll get there - we always do.
Fixtures tomorrow. Weymouth (a) last game of the season, fans all allowed back after successful vaccine, Danny Wright scores a last min headed to send us up. It’s coming home
In 2011 we lost Stanley, Robertson, Robinson, Bevan and Branston AND our manager. Long came in, he brought in Rene Howe, Bodin, Saah, and Olejnic. Players will move on, that’s football (to quite said manager) and new heroes come in
Two weeks ago I couldn’t have given a monkeys about the rest of the season, was convinced we were done. I’m now playing Robert Miles full belt whilst cleaning. Stupid little football club
A lot of our fan base thought we’d be lucky to get the play offs during our bad run. Johnson has re built a team that was riddled with injuries and we’ve run Sutton all the way. They deserve it and we have a great chance of winning the play offs. Back the lads
That was one of the best nights in my 15 years supporting Torquay. We’re going to do it, we’re going to win the league. I love the boys so much, such a special squad.
Neighbour asked if everything was ok on the groupchat because of a loud noise. Yes everything is ok the gulls are going up and I am loving every minute of it
Love this club, been to nearly all home games since 6th November 04. This is the absolute worst it’s ever been without a doubt.
@TUFC1899
treat the fans with some respect, and tell us what’s going on. Shambles.
The football has been crap this season, we all know that. But it’s the silent man at the top we should all be thinking about. So many promises not kept. I implore you all to join TUST. As well as their great community work, it’s vital to have a large, registered fan group.

Chesterfield are the best side I’ve seen play torquay this season. With so much focus on Notts and Wrexham (rightfully) I think Chesterfield could creep under the radar
Gary is an experienced, and ruthless manager. Certain players won’t last and he’ll be bringing others in. Trust the process, this is the best manager we’ve ever had.
I fancy us. Still.
I’m not sure when contracts get sorted at the club in terms of next season, but Shaun Mac deserves a big contract. Changed our season and is a proper club man. Love him.
Lost all enthusiasm for England. After Sunday it just doesn’t matter. Hope it comes back for Tuesday but not feeling it at all. Roll on Buckland in a swanky Nike 1899 kit
@HellsBellsy
People are shits. I had a similar thing on Facebook about my weight. Shouldn’t let it get to me but it does. We’re all human. Here’s a picture of a dog
Right. Twitter. An 11 a side game at Plainmoor in the summer, I’d imagine it will come at a financial cost. Who would want to play?

let’s get an idea on numbers
It’s been a few months since I last made the point… but if you haven’t signed up to TUST then it’s getting more and more vital that we grow the numbers.
Absolute radio silence from the owner who is walking us into regional football. For the future of our club, join.
20 miles. Over 9 hours. More than £1,000 raised. Hamstring non existent. Feet blistered to fuck. Big achievement for me, and all my colleagues. Thank you to all who donated, it really does mean a lot x
