Most of my friends are married, engaged, having children, moving in with partners, buying property.
And I can't stop travelling the whole damn world.
Maybe, one day, I'll regret this. But, for now, I'm having the time of my life.

Welcomed so warmly, treated to chai, and invited back for iftar next week. The kindness of strangers across my travels will never cease to touch me.

Instead, I ended up living a life of 18-hour workdays and degrading managers.
While I didn't realise it at the time, I'd slowly but surely lost my sense of self — and my sense of adventure.

After 12 years in England, my PR application was rejected. I was told it was time to ‘go back’ to India, my passport country — a country I'd never actually lived in. I was devastated.
But little did I know that a beautiful adventure was waiting for me on the other side. :)

Highly recommend the Vipassana experience in Goa. Guzzle endless booze, party til sunrise, forget your phone in your friend's car, and unintentionally live off-the-grid for a weekend with only your friends and your thoughts and the sunshine and the sea for company

When I first turned up alone in Goa in 2021, I barely had any friends in India — let alone in Goa itself.
And then I met the beautiful people of Benaulim, who warmly welcomed me in to their cosy circle and made my life in India so much happier. Forever grateful. :)
