I use to do this a lot when I was a young gay - now as a grown ass man, I move with intention. I will text first, I will respond as soon as I see you texted me. That wait 20+ mins to respond is childish.
Gay men especially, have the need of being desired by the entire community. Instead of showcasing love, we hide it to maintain the “he’s single” status.
My first day at my job I turned in a project and my lead said “wow that was fast”, baby that was the last “fast” thing I ever did….we all working like turtles fym.
1. HR is not there to protect you. They are there to protect the company.
2. Document EVERYTHING.
3. Food is not a reward for hard work.
4. Do the bare minimum, or you'll get rewarded MORE work.
5. Use them sick/vacation time.
6. Everyone is replaceable.
7. Keep them emails.
I understand they’re arguing, but it’s beautiful that this is a norm. Young queers weren’t arguing like this back in my day, niggas was scared to be out.
