According to Youichi Fukano, the beads on the Cutie Moon Rod were originally supposed to match the Inners' image colors (as on the Moon Stick) but Bandai changed them to the same color in order to cut costs. I wanted to see what it would have looked like had they not been cheap.

According to Osabu, Naoko always wanted to end the manga w/ Usagi & Mamoru's wedding. Feeling burned out, she'd also wanted Infinity to be the last arc. I think that's why Act 27 opens w/ Usagi dreaming about marrying Mamo - to set up their real nuptials at the arc's conclusion.

I still think the best concept for a Chibi Moon spin-off would be to follow her adventures at the royal academic villa on Moon Island. Hotaru and the Quartet (maybe Diana in human form?) could be her classmates and they could use the school uniforms from Parallel Sailor Moon.

Something I think a lot of Sailor Moon fans forget about or don't even realize is that the Sailor V manga started with "chapter 3." Minako's origin story wouldn't be revealed until nearly 2 years later, in the May 1993 issue of RunRun.
