Many people have asked me about how I file my IT returns every year myself and do not actually take the help of any auditors/CAs/tax-consultants. So, I thought I'll make a thread. It is my "humble" opinion that most salaried folks do not need help and can totally DIY it. (1/n)

@askubuskuaks So far she’s complained about night life, weather, and friends. I’ve told her night life and weather we were never known for and threw shade for not making friends while others are able to. Waiting for a meltdown on something else soon.

There’s a lot of talk about using AI for defence and administration. So I implore people to watch this movie called Eagle Eye. People keep bringing up The Terminator as an example (it has time travel and shit) but Eagle Eye is a much better, more practical fit to this narrative.

Loving the meltdown Arsenal fans are having week in week out. They’re crying this much sitting 9 points behind. Imagine us when we kept trading 1st place with City every game in 2018/19 and 2021/22 while being just 1 point behind as City won like their last 14 games in a row.

Please ignore my earlier post. Just found out about the marginal relief provision (which has existed since the last budget but seems to carry little mention) which ensures we don’t pay unfairly higher taxes. Feeling so dumb that it took me two budgets to find out about this.
I shell out 60k more in taxes because my rebate is taken away which I could use for things like an annual health check up (for which an exemption is not there in the new regime) or save towards as an emergency fund. 60k is more than an entire month’s expenses. Make it make sense.

I didn’t understand why the rebate goes away when your income crosses 5L in the old regime when I started paying taxes and I don’t understand why the rebate goes away when it crosses 12L now. Why is it there if it’s not going to be offered to everybody?

@nothing Y'all clearly didn't think when you made your earbuds such that we can't switch them off unless we put them inside the case, did you? If the case is broken, there's no way to switch the buds off.
