@Haqiqatjou In the Hadith, a companion visited the grave of the Holy Prophet, salalahu alaihi waalihi wasalam, performed istegatha for rain. It has been reported by 9 famous scholars. Not a single scholar rejected it by calling it shirk. Are they all mushriks who want to spread Istegatha?

@MrAdnanRashid @Haqiqatjou However, you lack evidence that calling someone alive is acceptable; if you do so for a deceased person, it is considered shirk.

@Haqiqatjou Prophets and saints are not worshipped by Muslims because they are not regarded as divine beings. It is a way for Muslims to ask Allah SWT for help through the Prophets and Saints because they can only help with Allah SWT's permission and grants.

@Armed_Spectre @whitealexxx @Haqiqatjou There is a contradiction in the verse if you interpret the Quran according to your standards. Can a deceased person turn their backs but not listen? This verse and the one that was quoted earlier are clearly referred to those who are living and deny truth.

@s4m0029 @Haqiqatjou No He just honoured Hz Abbas rz The Quran approves Jews taking mediation of Holy Prophet salalahu alaihi wasalam before his blessed birth whose name was there in their scriptures.

@s4m0029 @Haqiqatjou Because of his seniority and relationship to the Holy Prophet salalahu alaihi waalihi wasalam, Hz Abbas rz was honored by Hz Umar rz. While it is permissible to seek mediation from non-prophets, the Hadith does not state that it is forbidden to do so from the deceased.
