I always wonder what they mean exactly when they say they want someone who is "submissive". The word itself has a negative connotation. Does it mean the woman's feelings and opinions on matters are not taken into consideration? Does it means they just want a mindless childcare, sex provider and cleaner but don't provide for them emotionally or physically? IDK. It's all very confusing. Submissive means different things to different people. There should be a scale of submission so people are clear on expectations from the beginning of a relationship.

I think this resensitization of society to improve perspective and empathy will go a long way in healing the human psyche. Of course historically we've dealt with much more emotional and physical trauma, but the point is that we've reached a stage of evolution where we really don't need to traumatize ourselves as much as we do.
