Trainers are the back bone of racing, owners don't just waltz in to horseracing you know. In this instance equality is what's being asked for, an industry wide set payment to benefit trainers same as jockeys only seems fair, to argue against that you are arguing against equality. if it was the other way round and jockeys refused to give interviews unless a payment was set in place the cheque would in the bank before the ink dries. Trainers need more recognition as the back bone of the industry.
