If I can speak honestly, the reason why I'm getting tired with twst is they reduce personal stories. For me, twst's main charm point is its story. Sure, the Main Story and Events are interesting, but if we keep getting cards without personal story... that just turns me off.

Maybe it's just me, I feel that Malleus-Silver's dynamic is similar to Maleficent-Aurora in Maleficent movie. Maleficent acted like a "villain" for Aurora's sake, just like Malleus who thinks he's doing the right thing since Silver is sad to be separated from Lilia.
