Today, we hosted a showcase to display our sustainability initiatives incl our newest apparatus, Ladder1, Engine1, Medic1 & 3, with anti-idle technology, new electric fire tools, 4 EVs, and renovated EOC. We even took a few volunteers up in the ladder for the best view of Saanich

Saanich has updated zoning and policy to align with the Province’s Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing legislation.
These changes mean that the District has successfully met the Province’s June 30, 2024 deadline.
