We all know that current serverless cloud offerings fall short of their promise to eliminate infrastructure headaches. @UnikraftCloud, we've built a modern platform stack from the ground up, tailored for true serverless, making zero infrastructure management a reality! ➡️

Based on years of research, we're introducing @UnikraftCloud, the only *true serverless* platform where you can deploy apps and containers without any infra headaches.

Unikernel-based VMs (@UnikraftSDK) and our specialized virtualization platform make this possible. 💪

100k active VMs on a single machine and 0MB memory usage? Impossible?! Not on KraftCloud. 🚀 We're able to saturate machines by placing VMs into an idle but ready state. Idle doesn't mean the instances are offline; each VM will respond to any network request within 10s of milliseconds. HTTP requests to your service feel instantaneous. This is because each VM instance is powered by the Unikraft unikernel; a fully POSIX-/Linux compatible kernel designed for cloud performance and a platform designed to exploit the lightweightness of such kernels. Try it for yourself today:

@UnikraftSDK unikernels and our platform make it so easy to scale services on-demand. Some of you may remember xinetd, but we launch VMs... loving this. A shoutout to our incredible tech team at @kraft_cloud for making this advancement available to everyone.

I just wrote a blog titled "Millisecond Scale to Zero and the Quest to Never Pay for Idle Again", where we explain how at we achieve super fast scale to 0 (and wake ups) so that you only pay for when your app is running -- not for your cloud infra's overheads. SIgn up now (closed beta) at .

Tooling around containers made software packaging and reproducability a great experience, unikernels are very strong for deployments. At @UnikraftSDK we merge the wins of both!

The paradox of approaching an article which compares and contrasts unikernels and containers, I think, is that at @UnikraftSDK and @kraft_cloud, we’ve embraced containers as one of our own. Let’s explore why and how! 👇
