Cheers to the first graduating class of the LANL Quantum Computing Summer School. Very fun and productive summer with many algorithms and friendships developed. Can easily see this as one of the best places to be for quantum algorithms.

@wjzeng @thomasgwong Thanks Will! I mentioned it in the text but couldn't find any details on the experiment other than 10^25 has 25 zeros. Pointers appreciated if anyone knows

Quoted in Mehra's Historical Development of Quantum Theory Vol II p. 111 in a letter to Pauli on Feb 21 1923, in which Heisenberg criticizes Pauli's theory of anomalous Zeeman effects but also theoretical physics in general, proposing it as the motto for Zeitschrift für Physik

I found these results really interesting, assuming they're credible, and considered some new perspectives based on the comments - thanks to everyone who chimed in!

I really like the journal Quantum and its emphasis on open science. But I can't fathom why they don't make peer reviews open. Many journals already do this, to great benefit of both experts and lay readers imo. Would you sign an open letter to urge Quantum to open peer reviews?

One journal that makes peer reviews open is Nature, e.g. links to reports of named & anonymous referees. This provides valuable information for experts - what was checked, what wasn't checked, and how - and to general readers as to how science is done
