It seems some people are still confused about how autonomous the Optimus bots were at the Tesla event. This clip is from another video Tesla released a while ago. It shows how the bots are controlled remotely using a haptic suit, kind of like puppets. Also, during the event, the operators were speaking through a microphone. None of the bots were talking on their own. In short, all the hand movements and speaking were done remotely, but the walking was autonomous.

Our leaders spend a lot of time arguing how to rearrange the deck on the Titanic. Few acknowledge what is coming between the advances in AI, Robotics, and Quantum Computing. I don’t 100% agree w/ @AndrewYang or @RobertKennedyJr but at least they ask important questions

Is this art? Is there such thing as good/bad art? It did make me feel something, but I’m bored with that something. Was I supposed to be the one being observed? 8 ft cloth alien congregation. I’m still thinking about them so maybe it accomplishes something, but to what end?
