Origins is (currently) the latest installment of the Spectrobes trilogy with no news regarding future installments from Disney.

It's interesting to see that Dark Spectrobes are considered not only a variation of their Light Counterparts but an entirely new species as well.
It's probably because of the Krawl corrupting/altering the fossils but they're varied enough to be considered a different species

If I were to describe Spectrobes as a whole in few words, I'd say: wasted potential
This series is baffling in how much potential never got fully realized.
The lore was only getting started, the combat could only get better, the roster of Spectrobes could grow, etc
