🦋 🌄 Today is the 75th anniversary of the founding legislation for National Parks joining the statute book. It’s timely therefore to ask when the government will activate the law to strengthen the link between National Park management plans and the delivery of nature targets.

❌ Finally, it’s baffling why politicians use terms associated with violence to make their points – ‘chokehold’ and ‘suffocating’ this time but other terms have also featured recently such as ‘strangle’. I hope this approach can be rethought.
