You know, I was absolutely in love with the USA. The films, the jeans, the guys who defeated Hitler and spread freedom and democracy all over th world. I visited it every year. But that lasted only until I started to understand what was really going on in all those places where Americans had a presence. Imagine the rage and the shock I felt. It was all a lie. Today, I still have my US friends, but my conception of the USA has radically changed. I am not going to say all Americans are evil. I know they're not. While I was there, I received a lot of love, and I will never forget that. But the education you receive, the lies and BS on tv, your political class, your institutions, they all try to keep you misinformed, and thinking you are a force of good in this world, that you are exceptionall and better than the rest of countries. And many swallow these lies I loved the US. I hope I can get to love then again.
