A good reminder, especially as the cold weather draws in, to please keep your bird feeding area clean! Wash bird feeders, clean out water trays/baths, move your feed areas around (if possible) to avoid bacteria build up around them. Keep our nature safe and healthy! 🌿🐦
This male Chaffinch may look all cute & fluffed up, but his swollen neck suggests he's suffering from Trichomonosis, a horrible disease affecting finches & other birds Transmission is most likely through contaminated food or water, so PLEASE, KEEP #BIRD FEEDERS & BATHS CLEAN!
