The City and its development partners will be using City land to build rental housing for households with incomes from $90,000 to $190,000. That’s only a small minority of the City’s renter households, whose median income is $66,500 (2021 census).

ABC City Hall duplicating development by the private sector, but without including below-market-rental BMR units. 4,200 middle-income housing units in the first 5 projects within the new VHDO. 54 & 40-story mixed-use buildings at Pacific/Hornby with 1,136 market rental homes.
