While women now outnumber men in medical school, they are also leaving the profession at alarmingly higher rates. Yet, in multiple fields, female physicians have been shown to improve health outcomes for their patients. Join us in understanding why this happens and what we can do together to make medicine a more inclusive profession, for our colleagues and our patients. Becoming a physician is a long road. For women, there are even more challenges to achieving the highest positions in medicine. Donât miss this impactful series with three renowned women physiciansâDr. Mona Gohara, Dr. Jill Hessler, and @HopkinsMedicine faculty member, Dr. Wendy Chenâas they tackle the highs and lows of the profession of medicine and what needs to continue to change to create a better future for the next generation of women in STEM. @HopkinsPlastic
