Second moment of the year was SupercarFest at Sywell Aerodrome. I wasn’t expecting much but it delivered a great day out. Level of cars was right up there! 🏁 Feel lucky to live near Silverstone, and Sywell.

Just caught about 30 seconds of Fast and Furious 9. It was enough! How did blockbuster movies get THAT bad? Truly, truly rubbish. How could anyone watch that?! And I love the first one, the original. “Quarter mile at a time” etc.😎

V happy my 635 passed its MOT last week. 145k miles on the clock and only advisories to look into sorting. It’s returning 40mpg if I’m super careful, & looks good enough to make it onto the Gasoline Juice Insta feed! Not bad for £6k.

The level of skill for Verstappen to defend like that, & also defend while interpreting & adhering to the rules perfectly, so that his opponent gets the penalty & not him, is incredible. Totally amazing driving. What a battle. 🏁

Old media vs social media, Dad vs Son: I’d read an article on BBC News about the mission to moon Europa to explore if single cell life exists in its water. My son replied that his mate had seen on Tik-Tok that we will live in caves on our moon because there’s air down there. 🙄🙈
