Ever wondered how complex it is to manage compatibility of various React Native packages in complex codebases?
In his in-person talk,
@rohanpdofficial
will be sharing an overview of some of the tools, which have simplified developer experience in popular Microsoft applications.
best engineers might not always have social media presence.
I have worked with engineers whose code runs the best products in the world.
don’t confuse social media presence with skills.

My suggestion to students in college:
Don’t fall or engage into controversy and waste your time.
study from where you like and understand things well. work hard , grab a good job or do whatever you love.
make yourself and your parents proud, nothing else matters.
I referred someone at
@Microsoft
in 2021 and he cracked the interviews and got in.
I met him yesterday in office after almost 2.5 yrs for the first time.
He brought few sweets for me and thanked. I had no words to be honest.
Sometimes small gestures and help all we need ♥️
Career update 💫
I have accepted a new role within
@Microsoft
as Software Engineer - Design systems and will be transitioning next month.
I will work on Fluent Design System within Office org and develop components that would be used across office 365 apps. Excited for new role.
I have given many frontend interviews and felt that Internet is full of DSA tutorials but lacks on frontend interview or frontend system design interview preparation content.
So I am starting to make content on it and will share it soon.

my college asked me to do ML project in my final year and said web/app development are not actual projects.
Here i am doing app development everyday to power millions of users everyday.
I recently gave an interview and
fun fact : they didn't even see my resume.
all they wanted from me is "I can do the job or not".
it was great discussion.

This is how Frontend Interviews/System Design series is planning out.
Taking long time but this is going to be one place resource for frontend.
This is just 50% of things on a board.
stay tuned , keep supporting.
Cracking the Frontend. It will be free on YT.
I recently changed my role at
@Microsoft
.
With that I also moved from closed source Web to opensource Mobile(React Native) tech stack.
Many things changed , responsibility , thinking around the design etc..
Planning to make a video on that , what things you want to know ?
if you don't understand CSS , you will never understand Tailwind.
if you don't understand JS well , you will never understand React.
focus on fundamentals then move ahead.
have been working with JavaScript since last 5-6 yrs , right now work on products that have millions of daily users , write JS , Java , C++ in and out , still trying learn and understand it daily.
then there is this YouTube video saying learn JavaScript in 30 mins , I mean wtf.
One of best advices I have seen in recent times.
No matter how beautiful the dream , you can’t sleep forever

growth, homesick, learning, meet new people, take biggest decisions of life.
My team here at Microsoft , every two weeks we have sharing calls where we share something interesting outside work and learn & grow.

Here are something for you
Disclaimer: if you come from a super rich family and roam around in a Audi/BMW this is not for you. You can easily skip the degree.
My personal thoughts 👇
I am ramping up on few core infra things for React Native at my new role. 80% stuffs will be open source and I can share that.

A Thread 🧵
i am a frontend engineer and i want to switch jobs , but the thing is - "they ask DSA again"
there are many companies present who only take frontend rounds such as browser coding and JS coding & frontend system design.
@tanaypratap
giving jobs to people through
@roc8HQ
just with real web dev skills & without DSA.
Meanwhile organization charging hefty fees for teaching DSA :

I went for a health checkup today at a hospital (one of the biggest) in Hyderabad.
I just received my reports, and they're on a public URL—I mean, what? Aren't medical records supposed to be one of the most confidential things ever?

Understanding React Portals 🧵
As a front-end developer, you may have faced situations where you need to render components outside of their parent hierarchy, such as a modal or a tooltip. In the past, this was a difficult task to accomplish, but now React Portals is here.
