Prayer is meaningless in Calvinism. God already determined everything that will come to pass no matter what. However in biblical Christianity, prayer is powerful to move the hand of God and change the world, without which righteous advances would not have been made.

Calvinists do not really believe salvation by faith alone (Sola fide). Rather, they believe salvation by ELECTION alone. God selects a few, irresistibly regenerates (saves) them, and then AFTERWARDS gives them faith in Jesus. This is contrary to scripture, which teaches Sola Fide.
