With a badly depleted squad this was always going to be a tall order. Pipe and slippers game for Sheff Utd with #ncfc not managing a single shot on target. Could have been worst than 2-0 without a decent performance from Gunn in goal. #ncfc

Lots of possession for #ncfc but unable to do anything with it. Toothless upfront. And always look prone to a calamity at the back. Sheff Utd good for their lead.

Tetchy full blooded slog at Fratton Park. A game littered with six yellow cards (four of them for Norwich) and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a red in the second half. Both sides low on quality but Josh Murphy a constant threat for Portsmouth with his pace. #ncfc

Congratulations to #QPR - completely destroyed an off colour #ncfc today. Yes there were some dodgy decisions from the referee but we can’t use that as an excuse. Illness in the camp maybe? I don’t know. But whatever, it was a very poor performance from every one of our players.

Terrible first half from #ncfc at #qpr. Can’t cope with the wind, can’t cope with the opposition’s physicality, can’t cope with Dunne who has had a very strong first half.
