I think parents living together is what matters, not whether they are married or not. I have friends in the UK that never got married and raised kids just fine. Step parents that care is equally important. You go down the route you are talking you get the you can't get divorced/1

Hi, I, too worked abt 50 hours a week & commuted anywhere from 21/2 hours each way or 1 hour each way depending on the firm I worked for when I had kids, came home, cooked & then took over parenting because my wife deserved a break, my kids needed to know me, and it's just right.

I don't think yr household being a Republican household mattered. I grew up in a Democratic as did my kids. In my household growing up we had to own up in our fuck ups, as did my kids. Me and my kids were responsible for the things we did. It worked out very well for the 3 of us
