The varsity Rams crashed our 5th grade Rams party tonight. It was a nice surprise for the youngsters & a great example of the type of role models that we’re fortunate to have at this school. A big thank you goes out to the starting 5 here!

March of 1991. This was the 1st Bellevue Comet boys team to make it to the state tournament. Fast forward to today & we’ve lost our 3rd member of this team. Coach Ken Anderson will definitely be missed by all of us. 4th if you count Mark’s contributions behind the scene.

Five of my former youth Rams team. 2 were just called up after great Soph seasons & the other 3 have been contributing all year-leading this team in 3 pt shooting as well. All 5 of these guys can shoot it from anywhere on the court!

It was a good night for the Freshmen at Linn-Mar. Both Tevin (13 pts) & Drake (18 pts) were hitting shots to help lead their teams. They’ve both shot the ball well in the early season, not forcing things.

Generalizing here: The boys basketball state tournament. While the rest of the country was stopping in their tracks with the virus movement, the state finished off those last two days to at least finish this off. Meant a lot to those kids pushing towards the finish.
