Putting the pattern back in ready for tomorrow after a full week of rain, letting it rest and the 10-4-4 kicking in nicely, bit of a walk for the team with a single lengthways and a double widthways cut.
Absolutely loved being called a jobs worth C@&t by a Reading coach today during there warm ups for asking them to stay out of the penalty area, to then be told they have done the same warm up for the last 30 games and they won’t change. Maybe it’s time for a change now lmao
Great effort from the team this week to turn the pitch around from a very wet Tuesday night just the 60 working hours of repairs ready for

Great effort by the team this week to turn the pitch around after Tuesday night, a few battle scars and a bit firm. Last home game of the season in the sunshine.

The cake is baked by the managers wife every game a different cake and they are definitely worth trying and definitely worth a £1 a slice
Been helping out
@BMRFC
with renovation and also prep for their first pre season home game. Happy with the results can still improve with some finer touches

Cleaning out the Hybrid

carpet a slow and steady process. Fibres now starting to show through, a few stubborn areas to attack next week.

Gutted to be missing the last home game of 2023 today. A surprise trip to hospital and appendix removed this morning. Thanks to all the lads for cracking on with the pitch. Play up Pompey and hopefully a home win today
@Pompey
Would like to thank those who came and helped cover Fratton park today with temps set to drop between now and Monday trying to keep temperature in the ground is massively important
@Pompey
Coming to the end of a tough month weather wise and a high number of games at Fratton Park, a good shift in getting it ready for todays

After 4 games in 11 days the pitch has had some much needed attention today, verti drain, overseed and fertiliser tucked up and put to bed for a few days

One of the big reasons for the change of nets was visibility we changed them at the beginning of Feb and since the change score 22 goals at home 🤷♂️
@SkyFootball
Bit Harsh the ball takes a deflection and puts loads of spin on the ball. You can clearly see the ball spin away from the keeper as it bounces and because it bounces so close to him he has no chance of reacting
