Nio has built somewhere between 3000 and 3500 swap stations in total. It could be that there are other areas where they are approaching profitability, but we can never know as the numbers are sealed like an Egyptian tomb. I have a bad habit of provoking NIO stock shills, take my numbers sit a grain of salt. (But also the official numbers)

Oh boy. They claim ca. 60 swaps per day are needed to break even. Per station. 60 swaps add ca. 60 x 400 km = 24.000 km of range. With daily driving distances of 40 km, that would provide some 600 car-days. If they are building 1 station per day, they would need to sell some 600 cars/day to add enough capacity. 4200 cars / week. However, they are adding like 3-5 every day for which there are not enough cars being sold. Therefore the expansion of swap stations is a major negative financial impact. If they don't double or tripple their sales on a short notice, it's game over.
