You can’t just pick it up and start doing it, you need to be intentional in your acquisition of the skill, and if you don’t feel comfortable don’t do it. But if you never try and learn you are leaving a useful tool on the shelf

Excellent RCT comparing splint vs bandage of distal radius buckle fracture - no difference in outcomes- This supports the findings of the 2018 Cochrane review. I love evidence that simplifies care for patients!
Great example of how to disseminate findings by @MrDanPerry & team Immobilisation of buckle fractures of the wrist in children (FORCE) Pain scores equivalent whether in a splint or offered a bandage Treat pain - nature will do its thing.
