Hmmm, I think you are right but I also think you are wrong because of scale and timeline. To „accidentally“ stumble into communism by the desire to „want to own more“, the US government would need to spend, what, 10-20% of their annual budget (money they don‘t actually have) for probably 100 years to then own all listed companies only. Ballpark of course. You are „right“ but it‘s so far out of sight and lots of chance to course correct in 25 or 50 years.

Idk, maybe he meant it more in line of the general identity crisis Germany has, culturally. Not knowing what it is, should be or is even allowed to be and hence has leaned into too much openness due to lack of cultural „vision“? With „soup“ he perhaps then means ‚culture‘, more than ‚ethnicity‘? US being multi-ethnic, but a way more common/unified culture than eg Germany? Hm, Merz hat im Prinzip Migrations-Konzept das auch AfD zufrieden stellen sollte. Brandmauer existiert, dh keine Koalition mit der AfD. CSU schließt Koalition mit Grün aus. Scholz sagt was Merz will bei Migration geht nicht. Bleibt eigentlich, rein logistisch, nur eine CDU/CSU Minderheitsregierung, oder? Bei common-sense Migrations-Themen kann die AfD eigentlich nicht dagegen stimmen. Faktisch Brandmauer nicht eingerissen, und Migration im Sinne der Mehrheit der Bevölkerung gelöst. Wirtschaftsthemen kann sich Merz Mehrheiten dynamisch bei potentiell drei Parteien holen. Keiner verliert so richtig hart sein Ansehen, wie in allen anderen möglichen Szenarien (⚫️🔵/⚫️🔴/⚫️🟢). Migration, Wirtschaft gewinnen. Solange Merz soziale und grüne Agenden nicht überfährt, sollten viele Gesetze mit Rot und Grün möglich sein. Ist das möglich bzw gerade die wahrscheinlichste und ggf „beste“ Variante für DE?

Hard to say tbh. I do know or can guess quite well some revenues of private suppliers, but valuation-data is hard to come by. Also, many game-suppliers are owned by B2C companies, which means they never really have any transactions. I do feel EVO was quite a bit too hot for too long (as you know) and it needed a correction, but this feels over-corrected imo. But, certainly not the expert here.
