@rougecardinale1 @Jenny_1884 Yes, the destruction of the Country Pub is awful. Unfortunately, they need all the customers they can get or even more will close.

Good point about the pandemic. Especially as people bought dogs for companionship and a reason to go for a walk. Many were therefore badly socialised and some have effectively been abandoned, having served their purpose. Most pubs and eateries have specific dining areas for people with their dogs. Personally, I've not eaten in a restaurant that allows dogs. So people still have an enormous choice of places to eat without being worried by dogs. As long as everyone remains polite, including the dogs, there shouldn't be a problem!

I'm sure you're right. The people who provoke dogs to elicit a response are evil. I'm afraid that is why I would never consider a rescue dog because you can't be sure what may trigger them, and that is very sad indeed. We left our dog at home or in the car (if this was appropriate) for 6 years until two of our favourite shops started to allow them in. Could I ask if you are afraid/wary of dogs?

Inasmuch as they are descended from wolves, yes but they no longer hunt in packs for food like their ancestors. We have domesticated them so they can be easily trained to be clean and well-behaved. They keep us fit and bring companionship to those alone. They work for us in the Army, the Police Force, in the Farmer's field. They guide the blind and hear for the deaf. I am happy that my dog is part of the family. No, they are not human but I wish some humans were more like dogs.

@Ly83000 @OneTrueSpartan @MarinaPurkiss Well, I think I'm going to report you for being a bit silly, very nosey and completely wrong. Joking apart, what you have done is quite concerning and I'm blocking and reporting you.

@Ly83000 @OneTrueSpartan @MarinaPurkiss Oh dear, I don't think we have anything further to discuss. You must have had to dig pretty deep to find out I like sewing and needlework. I do it for myself (sometimes late into the night) to either keep or give away. It's a hobby, not a commercial exercise.
