I swore the average debut limit was 23. Park Bom debuted at 25, Sakura redebuted at 24, and Kahi at 29 but things are rapidly changing in Kpop. Shame adults in their 20’s can’t get a shot as easy as someone hardly out of middle school.

Sakura had more confidence pre PD48 and especially pre IZ*One. The same thing happened Somi in I.O.I where she also lost confidence in her voice. With Sakura, she had more opportunities to sing in Hkt48 because the system is different but in IZ*One the opportunity wasn’t given.

To continue, the AKB48 system gives more popular members opportunities to be in the front and let their voice be heard (similar used in other idol systems like Hello Project). Kpop however gave members labels like singer, dancer, or visuals. She probably felt unsupported maybe.

Hmmm, people voted because these girls made the best of a bad situation and committed. Erii is an AKB48 ace, Minami is rising in AKB, Hyewon debuted as IZ*One, Chowon made it as IZ*One (got rigged out) and later debuted as Lightsum. All things considered, this group made stars.
