For this year of 2025, the year of Hope, my resolutions are: No Bets/Gambling- No buying random things on a whim; Creating a Budget and sticking to it No movies bordering on pornography Filling my mind with art, movies/pictures that are lifegiving No Swearing/use of profanity- journaling and spending time with God intentionally everyday. Asking God for a word everyday instead of filling my day with my own words Learn reflective listening- focusing on growing my marriage and being a better spouse to my wife. Reading books and things that will prepare me for parenthood and make me a better Dad. Being more transparent and vulnerable with my wife. Not telling my wife a lie- ever - always tell her the truth. Get my eating on track- eating healthier. Get a plan for my healthcare sorted. Run a race for charity-run a race as a participant- FOCUS IS FINISHING THE RACE. Incorporate the JOURNAL Incorporate schedules and lists and putting systems in place will improve my communication; both personally and professionally. Learn more about St. Andre Bessette, my patron St for this year. When I start something, FINISH it. One task at a time. (“Finish” was word for this year). We’re all growing, improving and getting better. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. Here’s to a better year ahead!
