Something is desperately wrong with society when “black women, protesting the death of six other black women, have to cross out the number six to add the number seven” during the protest.

Dear colleagues, my heart is with you tomorrow. You step behind the pulpit after another mass shooting. Offer priestly & prophetic words, do not be silent. The moment to rise confronts us, so speak your heart & conscience. God will be with you and I will pray for you.

Why in the hell are they still debating this nonsense after today? If this was a Baptist Business Meeeting, an elderly saint would call for the question and we would stand up to call her blessed.
I would like to commend the trustees of SWBTS for reevaluating their previous decision and finally firing Paige Patterson. This type of theological malpractice has no place in the Christian tradition.

"A growing number of clergy are leaving Christian ministry, taking cover at jobs better suited for their mental health and spiritual well-being. No longer in the pulpit, what message are they sending?"
Dear pastoral colleagues, may God grant you wisdom and guidance tomorrow as you preach to a divided country and church. May the hope of the Gospel shine through each of you.

If we fail to educate one child, we have failed them all. Some OK legislators have decided a fully-funded public education system is a privilege some children should not be afforded. Let me be clear as minister of the Gospel, these actions are nothing less than sinful.
"Teachers want more," Gov. Fallin said. "But it's kind of like a teenager wanting a better car." As a minister, I will not mince words. Some OK lawmakers have been nothing less than sinful. They have been obstinate, arrogant, and greedy.
“Far too many pastors are succumbing to the pressures of pastoral ministry. Some have taken their own lives; others engage in a variety of self-harming behaviors. The church must recognize the important role it has in ministering to the minister.”

In 1527, Anabaptist Felix Manz is chained, rebuked, and thrown into the Limmat River. His crime was he followed his conscience and practiced believer’s baptism. As he sank, he sang a hymn to drown out the cries, “So, you wanted to be baptized again?”
