Sat my Biomed exam today and it went so much better than expected! All three exams for my first term completed and I am SO relieved 🙂‍↕️ Now to enjoy a week off (with lots of 30th birthday plans) before next term starts again on the 9th!

I made it to and from Sheffield in the car this morning! Driving with the wind was quite scary but I'm back in one piece 💖 Second exam down, time to meet mum for a drink!

Train has been cancelled tomorrow morning so I'm going to be driving in at like 6AM and I am ✨petrified✨ The driving anxiety is back in full force and it's not what I need before an exam that's worth 70% of my module grade.

I saw Rosie & Sam on Thursday which was extremely restorative too. Starting to feel a lot of regret for not doing fun things with my Christmas off but the first week was ruined by Norovirus and now I'm just freaking out about Linguistics, Biomed and Paeds Development revision 😩

@libby4000 @emilyharriettt So I was really lucky in that respect - but if you feel comfortable asking for that then that might be helpful! I think it's fab that you're aware of your 'blind spots' (hehe) as it'll make you a safer driver overall ultimately!

Not us talking about a trip to Japan to celebrate our 30th birthdays this year 😭 it's been on both our bucket lists for a long time and I feel like if we don't do it now, we never will.

My last drive to and from Sheffield for a month done! Getting the train tomorrow because I'm going for food with the uni girlies after our last lecture of term - cannot believe I'm getting my first 'Christmas break' since I was 16! 🥹

Absolutely relieved that I don't have an exam on my 30th birthday (it falls under the last week of exam season) but Biomed is the day after Kublai Khan, so that's going to be painful 🥲

On the plus side, I've finished 2 of my assignments that are due mid-December and the group I'm in has pretty much finished for the group work. I've got two little multiple choice exams for Paeds Development coming up but other than that I need to focus on Biomed & Linguistics.

Second to last day of placement done! Why am I loving Paeds so much? I've been crawling around on the floor 🥹
