Guess where this problem can be solved? State house of assembly. Not presidency, not National house of assembly, not Governor’s office. We need to get our priorities right.
Gombe state (one of the poorest states in the federation) pays it’s ex-Governors’ N300m yearly. They have 3 ex-Governors at the moment, that’s a sum of N900m every year. Let me remind you that Gombe state’s IGR for the whole of 2021 was just N10billion.
