@Liberation_Blk Also how much the IDF and the cops in the U.S. work together — It’s one of the most immediately impactful and gigantic overlap between black and Arab causes.

@0nlyMeez @hutchinson Of the voting-age population, he only got 34% or so. The winner of every election is blank — most people simply don’t vote. If that had a lot more consequence, things would be different.

@aphexurbanite Saying anything to assume the voters are stupid and to be holier than thou. Yikes.

@InlandCaGuy Tactics change, projects merge. Most pro-Palestine things merged with general anti-Trump and especially immigration protest. You’d find things overlap.

@chrisgambler247 @HiddenYorkshire I'm not sure if "more addictive than heroin" is a good framing, because addiction isn't a simple, "I tried heroin, and now I immediately am addicted". There is no "addiction measure", but there are is SO many commonalities on the brain and society:

@suttondef @iambobbyfoster That's why it's the most important time *to* have a message. Stop accepting Monday to Friday "reality".

@rostikaashebka @YHlhl90495 @HalfAtlanta @BlackKnight10k It depends. If you search up more broadly anti-Trump protests, you’ll see more numbers and more people. How the media spins things. Things aren’t so siloed anymore. Now there’s larger numbers and cascading issues. Big immigration rallies are happening all over, too, mind you.

@YHlhl90495 @HalfAtlanta @BlackKnight10k Also fucking dumbass x3, Atlanta edition This is all post-hoc. I’m not even sharing the many protests happening weekly and almost daily against Trump. This is JUST Palestine-specific events. Lately marches are merging with broader anti-Trump stuff.

@HalfAtlanta But like...bananas do? Many, many products in capitalism take up movement phrases + co-opt aesthetics in response to movement and social pressure. The work is lifting up and producing the use-value. Masses of people are clearly reaching for something.

@Kaimandante It isn’t a lack of radical artists — it’s about being able to control enough of the means of production to make something that can be on a stage with 126 million+ people watching. Not even the Black Panthers at their height could get that many eyes on them at once.
