That is a good piece ..reality is that large companies have the scale to get around the increased restrictions unlike SMEs ..so the real cost of brexit (if u exclude inflation) has been borne by SMEs..fairly ironic when the tories used to be the party of small business owners

Brexit ‘freedoms’ / deregulation always meant stripping away workers rights .. the problem with this, of course, is that no one would ever vote for it ..that’s why the right of the Tory party, in my view, really wants to gut ECHR etc ..they can force force their utopia upon us

Hung parliament is definitely the best outcome as it’s the quickest route back into SM / FOM (& to get pr)...if labour win, the economy will likely continue to decline due to their brexit policy, and the Tories may get back in again to ‘fix labours brexit mess’
