Building something meaningful from 0 to 1 in crypto takes 5+ years and requires you to believe in something when most don’t believe it. If you’re chasing shiny objects as a founder you may be able to make quick money but you have no shot at making a big impact. Anyone that tells you different is either a useful idiot or malicious.

there's one big difference: you don't just stake/vest. you need to perform/achieve the shared goal — and if you don't, your stake is distributed among those who do (vs returned to treasury/deployer address in case of vesting). imagine token communities hosting commits/challenges to grow X metrics (on/offchain), not sell till Y time, and so on — all with skin in the game, social mechanisms, and slashing in place to align the incentives 🤝
