So I turned my Panasonic Q on today. Something I'd been putting off as I feared the disc tray was faulty. I was correct. It wouldn't open, and the Gamecube would activate.
2hrs, lots of sweat, a few tears and a drop of blood later and it's back in business.

Saying it now, I love the N64. It seems to be the cool console to hate on these days. Whether it's the "unusable" controller or "unplayable" games.
Whilst nostalgia may play a part in my appreciation of the machine, and its certainly not flawless, it's still bloody great fun.

After 2 months in transit, im now the proud owner of a 1979 Nintendo Color TV Game: Block Kuzushi.
Not only the first games console to bear the Nintendo name, but also the exterior was one of the first design jobs by a newly employed Shiguru Miyamoto.
Such an stunning design.

Celebrating 30 years of the Game Boy! Released this day in Japan in 1989, along side the seminal Super Mario Land and 3 other titles.
The Game Boy family would spawn at least 6 distinct variants in its life time before finally being retired in 2010.
