Thank you to the Women’s Caucus and the American Heart Association for their presentation on Go Red for Women Day at the State House. Cardiovascular disease is the number 1 cause of death for women, but only 44 percent of women are aware of this.

It was great to join in on the Chinese New Year festivities at the Medford Senior Center. I was joined by @seangarballeyMA and @justin4medford and other lovely community members to mark this joyous occasion.

Yesterday, I joined Governor Maura Healey and my colleagues in the House and Senate to pass two outstanding health care bills. These bills will take crucial steps to protect patients, bring down cost growth, and to foster greater stability and accountability within the system.

As we usher in the New Year, I am privileged to continue representing the 35th Middlesex District. As I take the oath of office for another two-year term, I wish to reaffirm my dedication to Medford and Malden.

On Wednesday night, I was honored to have attended the Salute to Veterans Dinner at the Medford Senior Center. Thank you to all those who are serving or have served in our military.

On Tuesday I attended the Massachusetts Sheriffs’ Association Awards Ceremony at the State House. Congratulations to Assistant Deputy Superintendent I Nicholas Gianino!

Yesterday, the Foster Care Legislative Caucus honored me as the 2024 Legislator of the Year. This is a recognition that bears profound personal and professional significance for me.

This morning, I joined local officials in welcoming the Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities, Ed Augustus, to Malden.

On Monday, I was excited to join in the ribbon cutting for Carr Park in Medford.
