Gatti is definitely on my watchlist for the summer, every single time I’ve watched him I’ve been impressed. He’s alongside the likes of Pavlovic, Bade, Chalobah; the guys who give you 7/10s every week. Consistency is sorely missed at the moment

@PPetrov_FR @MannyUTFR and I think there’s still a lot of misinformation on pressure in groups too, there’s always an instigator who recognises the trigger first; whether it be a pass backwards, to a dodgy player, touch on the weak foot, the ball has gone wide… Some players are more switched on to it

@scoutico_ if you're only going to promote the 'elite', who are leagues ahead of their athletic group anyways, then you can only sign the elite players in my opinion. Which Arsenal & Chelsea don't, they buy mediocre in bulk and neglect the academy...being in London too it's genuinely daft

@JackFawcett1704 How is he with the ball at his feet these days? Few years ago his touches were a bit choppy, too choppy to play in a backline for the premier league

Bodø used him as a last-line target man, he keeps defences deep & whilst he’s not going to be a haywire CF; he’s explosive across short distances and likes to roll defenders to get his shots off. If Luton were shrewd, he’d play on the shoulder of the LCB all game

@mufcMPB Collectively they do, but Sir Jim / INEOS have the biggest individual stake & thus biggest influence on football and business operations

My favourite thing about redundancy is that it’s painted as not personal: - you being personally attached to the job - to get the job you need to demonstrate attractive personal qualities - it’s only YOUR livelihood & survival that’s put at risk Fuck right off INEOS

Gatti is slowly growing on me as a player, since I watched Sheffield United I have a love affair for lokomotiv CBs who run through brick walls My team converted two midfielders to bring this idea to life and its slick as fuck watching structures topple to the ground.

I genuinely think playing 5 CBs is an insult to the sport
