This is insaneeee!!!
- 66 Days
- Half a million impressions (651k)
- 3 Inbound leads
- multiple client projects
I can't believe all this happened just because I started sharing my designs on the internet😵
Currently I'm taking 3 clients max at a time
I kinda feel bad for leaving money on the table, But hey quality >>> quantity
How many projects do you guys do at one time?
Finally crossed 100 followers!!!🥳
I genuinely want to thank each and every amazing person I've met on this platform
It ain't much but it's honest work😊
My designs sucked
I thought nobody would give me a job
I was from a different industry
I was told this was a dying market
But I loved designing
and I enjoyed my time using Figma
I was amazed by the creativity of fellow designers
Their app, Websites, and Animations drew me
I'll be real with y'all
I am more amazed by my design than others.
Why?
Two months ago, I was making awful designs.
Joined Twitter.
And bang, I start creating 10 times better.

Review of last week's goals
- Ship my first template ❌
- Ship the damn portfolio ❌
- Onboard a new client ✅
- Do a bike ride ✅
- Drink more coffee ❌ (How on earth did I forget to drink coffee?)
Initial phase of any project is always filled with excitement and I try my best to finish at least 60% of the work in the first few days
Decreasing the gap between idea and execution has always been a game changer for me.
One of the important lessons I learned today is that I am still far from where I want to be.
Which is actually a positive thing.
More things to learn, more unknown regions to explore, and more time doing what I enjoy!
For the time being, I'm going to slow down and enjoy the
Back from vacation🥹👌
No idea where to start and what to continue, the break was too long
Everything's red on X
Made some goals for the next 6 months:
- Publish the template
- Portfolio v3 goes live
- Onboard new client
- Buy a macbook
- Move out to Sikkim
- Learn cooking

Design taste keeps changing. My first portfolio was dark mode with glassmorphism, second was bombarded with animations, third was minimal and narrow
@oykun
Barely started designing an year ago, does this advice applies to me? 🤔
Personally, I'm focusing on learning and experimenting and thus money isn't my top priority atm
I deleted my X account 3 months
Decided to start posting again
I started posting consistenly and:
-Landed my first client on X
-Made great friends and connections
-Received amazing compliments
-Got 50+ followers
Don't focus on outcomes, Focus on what you can control
@stoitec
My brother. This ain't even a tutorial. This looks like one of those ebooks that designers sell.
The amount of freaking hard work you put is super inspirational.
@oguzyagizkara
Where do you get inspirations for your designs?
Some of your illustration inspired me to create mine but boy oh boy were those super difficult
@uxkosta
Lowkey i believe luck plays a major factor too. I started barely 2 months ago and it has brought me insane amount of good stuff.
But ik people who are showing up since an year and still no progress
Dear template creators
Can we stick to simple and easy customizable options in layouts and card designs please? 🥲
I went through a few nice-looking templates, but most of them wouldn't let me modify the icon or color of specific elements.
@HamzaAhrbil
Get them to say more "yes".
Ask questions that makes them say yes and they should be related to your service.
"Do you want people to understand what your product does?"
Most of the calls that I missed are the ones where I appeared under confident. Be energetic ❤️🔥
I only started 90 days ago and now have 1 million impressions, four paying clients, and a lot of fantastic friends.
All of this happened because I refused to give up.
P.S.- I have no idea what I'm doing; I'm learning every day and sharing my thoughts (and designs).
Today I got the chance to talk to
@rehanxahmed
🙌
It was about testing a code component of
@framer
and he got a sneak peek of What I'm cooking from the last 2 weeks and a lot of powerful code components 🤩🚀
But still, I didn't reveal the name & domain 😁👀😂
We'd a great chat
"Show not tell" is one of the most important things I prioritize when designing.
Instead of having text-heavy sections, create designs that directly communicate your idea.
Create illustrations and use clear and concise headings.

@uxvinayj
It's literally a fish market at this point. People don't even have portfolio but wish to get into Google.
And I'll never get bored of people saying UX is more important than UI cause their designs look ugly xD

People love "clean" designs
Most of my designs that felt very clean had a large number of impressions. Also, remember to present your design in a clean, modern way!
Man i genuinely love X
-Everyone is positive and full of energy
- Everyone is sharing great designs and indie projects
Then i go to linkedin
-Everybody is crying about not getting a job
-Everybody thinks UX Market is dying
Whats going on in linkedin😭👌

Posting one content every single day
I did my best to post one design shot per day, but when I got busy, I posted written content to remain consistent.
