Thank you. I was diagnosed in the early 90s although l believe l was showing symptoms long before that. I was sent on a 4 week course in Buxton hospital to "make me better". One of their treatments was to push me into a pool to see if I'd swim.... I didn't and almost drowned.

Thank you for helping. As a disabled person reliant on a motorised chair things like this are why l won't use public transport anymore. Its not reliable and you have no idea of the terror of being a disabled person left stranded.

It's not just the sick person going to work, the workplace has to be accessible, the employers need to know that the person will spend a lot of time off sick, some may need PAs to enable them to get to work and specialised transport. Who's paying for all that?
